Lizzie has told me that what we know about Wickham is not the truth. I have to say that I was shocked. I always think the best of people, that's just who I am, and I would have never saw that coming. We discussed whether or not to expose him. The secret could ruin him forever, though the secret would be the truth, we decided to just remain silent on the matter.

I know my news of Wickham were very hard to take in, but I assure you there was no one else in the world I could have trusted more with this secret. I do believe our choice of keeping this secret intimate only with us was the right one. I just really wish we could have known the truth about him sooner, we must try to break Lydia's infatuation with him immediately.
