I have to believe that my mother doe not wish to see me until I have won Mr. Bingley back, which dear most impossible now. I have to understand her reasoning but I can't. Lydia is allowed to go away, that lucky girl. Father just wants to keep her out of trouble. Though knowing Lydia I do believe that she will try to pursue a soldier.

ReplyDeleteYou must not feel upset with Mother's actions, for she has never had a sensible thought in all her life. Please do not meddle about Bingley, it is a situation that only brings sadness to you so thus sadness to me. Your prediction of Lydia going away is very possible of being true, I do believe she will embarass this family.
